How we respond to hurt in this life can have dramatic effects on our emotional, spiritual, and physical health. Many of us carry hurts from our past and keep them alive in our future thinking that if I release them, it somehow makes it ok that it happened, or releases the offender from any consequence. The truth is that we only hurt ourselves by holding onto resentment. This week we will look at how to let go of resentment through the eyes of Job – someone who had more than their share of life’s hurts to hang onto it.
